Deceptive Behavioral Detection 2.0 is a one-day, 10-hour advanced training program from Tactical Tradecraft Solutions, LLC. The course equips officers to detect verbal and non-verbal deception during roadside encounters, interviews, and interdiction stops.

Blending behavioral science with real-world interdiction tactics, participants learn to establish baselines, spot deviations, and identify pacifying behaviors that often signal concealed criminal activity. The training explores how the brain’s limbic system and prefrontal cortex influence deceptive responses and how these changes appear during live interactions.

Through lecture, case study review, video analysis, and scenario-based drills, students practice elicitation interviews and deception detection in realistic settings. Officers leave the course with courtroom-defensible skills to connect behavioral observations to reasonable suspicion and probable cause.
