Tuesdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm
Thursdays from 1:30pm to 5:00pm
City Hall staff will be available to assist with applications on these days and times, please use the link below to make an appointment to review your application and documents. You do not need an appointment to pick up an application.

For Homeowners
Home Repair Loans & Grants
Also known as the Section 504 Home Repair program, this provides loans to very-low-income homeowners to repair, improve or modernize their homes or grants to elderly very-low-income homeowners to remove health and safety hazards.

- Grant: Must be at least 62 yrs old, $10,000 lifetime limit, meet income limits
- Loan: any age, 1% interest rate, 20 yr term, $40,000 limit, meet income limits
- RD 504 Income Limits:
- 1-4 persons $38,750
- 5-8 persons $51,150
- Application Documents:
- Contractors registered with the City (you are not required to use these contractors)

Single Family Housing Direct Home Loans
Also known as the Section 502 Direct Loan Program, this program assists low- and very-low-income applicants obtain decent, safe and sanitary housing in eligible rural areas by providing payment assistance to increase an applicant’s repayment ability. Payment assistance is a type of subsidy that reduces the mortgage payment for a short time. The amount of assistance is determined by the adjusted family income.
